The Vermont senator has been selling merchandise featuring the iconic photo of him bundled up for the inauguration — and clearly it’s been going well. So far, Sanders has brought in $1.8 million, he says. And all of it is going to Vermont charities, he adds. “Jane and I were amazed by all the creativity shown by so many people over the last week, and we’re glad we can use my Internet fame to help Vermonters in need,” Sanders says.
