Some mornings are more Bearable than others! On Tuesday, a mama black bear and her cub climbed into a van delivering Krispy Kreme Doughnuts at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson and devoured several boxes of the freshly baked treats. The bears were eventually scared away by base security, but they ate 20 packages of doughnut holes and six packages of chocolate doughnuts. The Krispy Kreme stores on Muldoon and will be taking extra precautions to ensure bears don’t get back in the van.
