Couple Sees Wedding Photos For The First Time 56 Years Later
A couple in Canada who got married in 1968 just saw their wedding photos for the first time.
Margaret and Barry Sharman didn’t have enough money to buy their photos back then, and never even got to look at them. Someone bought the photos at a yard sale and donated them to a museum. Here’s where the universe brought them to Margaret and Barry…one of Margaret’s bridesmaids, Sandra, works at that museum now and recognized the photos!
Marti and Sandy have been friends since second grade, so Sandy had the pictures redone and sent them to the Sharmans. They arrived on Christmas Eve. There were three images: one of the whole wedding party, one of the newlyweds and a third image of Margaret on her own.
Barry said it was emotional for his wife: “She cried a lot. Happy tears,” “She was just beside herself with joy.”
