About Time! Tesla has recently opened the first non-Tesla Supercharging station in Chugiak. This station is equipped with V3 Supercharging stalls and Magic Dock built-in CCS1 adapters, allowing non-Tesla EVs to use the Supercharger. Currently, there are 15 Tesla Supercharging sites in the US and two in Canada available for non-Tesla EVs. The Magic Dock is a temporary solution to comply with federal requirements to be eligible for public funds while expanding the Supercharging network. In the longer term, all new electric vehicles will be equipped with the Tesla’s North American Charging Standard (NACS) charging connector.
